3M TEACHING FELLOWSHIPS
A prestigious national teaching award presented by the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) and 3M Canada to reward exceptional contributions to teaching and learning at Canadian universities. The community of 3M National Teaching Fellows embodies the highest ideals of teaching excellence and scholarship with a commitment to enhance the educational experience of every learner.

The Selection Committee looks for the following independent evidence:

  • Excellence in teaching over a number of years, principally (but not exclusively) at the undergraduate level.
  • Commitment to the improvement of university teaching, with emphasis on contributions beyond the nominee’s discipline or profession to as broad an audience as possible.

ALAN BLIZZARD AWARD
This Award, presented by the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE), celebrates exemplary collaborative faculty projects in Canadian universities that deepen and extend student learning

OCUFA TEACHING AWARDS AND ACADEMIC LIBRARIANSHIP AWARD
Presented by the Ontario Confederation of Ontario University Faculty Associations in recognition of outstanding teachers and academic librarians at Ontario universities. Areas which may be considered by the committee include: classroom instruction, thesis supervision, course design, curriculum development, research on university teaching, development of innovative teaching methods, and educational planning and policy making.
