Book a 30-minute virtual consultation with a Faculty Liaison from the Teaching, Learning and Technology team at the Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation (CTSI) to discuss Quercus and educational technology questions for your upcoming course(s). Consultations are available for the following categories:

  • Quercus: Getting started, copying courses, building and organizing content, creating modules and pages, using the Rich Content Editor, setting up assignments / quizzes / rubrics / Turnitin / Gradebook
  • Teaching with Technology: Using the U of T Academic Toolbox to administer your course, communicate with students, assess student work, and design inclusive teaching and learning environments
  • Teaching with GenAI: Incorporating GenAI in your teaching, revising assessment instructions and rubrics, introducing AI literacy, using Microsoft Copilot, and crafting effective prompts
  • Accessibility in Teaching and Learning: Checking accessibility in Quercus, structuring documents, generating captions and transcripts, and using tools like the Immersive Reader

Note: Instructors from Applied Science & EngineeringArts & ScienceKinesiology & Physical EducationUTM, and UTSC, are encouraged to connect with their divisional support teams for unit-specific guidance.

Consultation bookings are available during the following dates, between 10am and 4pm: August 18–22 and 25–29, September 2–5 and 8–12, 2025. If you need assistance outside these dates—or anticipate needing more than 30 minutes—please submit a request through the CTSI general consultation request form.
