Tune into Teaching: Top Things to Know about Teaching and Generative AI at U of T

Generative AI is reshaping teaching and learning, but navigating the landscape at U of T doesn't have to be overwhelming. This focused one-hour online session gives participants exactly what they need to get started: which AI tools are officially supported (including U of T's own Cogniti platform), University guidelines, practical strategies for setting clear expectations with students, and real teaching examples from U of T instructors. 

Participants will walk away with concrete examples of assessments from U of T instructors that incorporate AI and those designed to limit its use, ready-to-use conversation starters for discussing AI with students, and a clear understanding of the resources available to support their teaching. Whatever their approach to generative AI, this session provides the institutional knowledge and practical tools to make informed decisions in their courses.
