Macmillan Achieve

Table of Contents

Macmillan Achieve is an online learning platform that provides instructors and students with access to course materials and assessment activities. The platform includes ebooks, quizzes, homework assignments, and tools for monitoring student progress. Achieve integrates with Quercus, allowing instructors to connect publisher materials and learning activities to their courses.

Before You Begin

Macmillan Achieve is available as an integration in Quercus, but access to Achieve course materials must be arranged on a course-by-course basis. The University of Toronto has an agreement with Macmillan Learning, and individual divisions may have different policies and practices regarding access, use, and support.

Instructors should contact the U of T Bookstore to obtain a Macmillan Achieve access code before setting up the integration in their course. They should also confirm the materials, licensing arrangements, and any associated costs with their Macmillan representative.

When selecting publisher materials and learning activities, consider how students will access the resources, whether additional purchases or accounts are required, and how the activities align with your course learning outcomes and assessments.
