UDL in Practice: Designing for Access
15 January 2027 @ 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm EST
UDL in Practice is a monthly professional learning series hosted by the Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation (CTSI). These 30-minute sessions explore small, practical strategies for inclusive course design through a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approach.
Each session focuses on a specific area of course design, such as methods, materials, environments, access, support, or executive function, and invites participants to reflect on teaching practices, explore examples, and discuss strategies that can be adapted across different teaching contexts. Sessions are conversational and community-oriented, with an emphasis on practical ideas instructors can try in their own courses.
Attend one session or join throughout the year. Each session stands on its own while contributing to a broader conversation about inclusive and accessible teaching. Insights and strategies generated through the series may later be incorporated into CTSI’s UDL Strategy Libraries.
