Online (Teams)
Trauma affects how students learn, engage, and show up in our classrooms (or not). This interactive workshop invites reflection on the impact of trauma on teaching and learning, introduces participants to the principles of trauma-informed practice, while fostering dialogue and providing practical strategies for support. Through case study analysis, a guided somatic self-care activity, and a take-home tool kit of resources, participants will become familiar with actionable strategies to reduce the risks of harm and create learning environments where students can thrive.
In-person option on September 16, 1pm-2pm
Please go to the RGASC website for registration information for both the in-person and online options.
