February 14 @ 10:00 am - 12:45 pm EST
Presented By: Centre for Community Partnerships & Centre for Research and Innovation Support
This series, in collaboration with the Centre for Research and Innovation Support, is for faculty with an interest in deepening their understanding and practice of community-engaged research (CER). Participants will have the opportunity to connect with, and learn together from, colleagues and their community partners. Sessions will highlight both theoretical and practical considerations from a variety of perspectives with an aim to strengthen our collaborative approaches to research.
The third session in this series will focus on key relationship building activities and potential challenges during the formalization stage of partnership building in community-engaged research. Using real world case studies, guest panelists will share examples from their own experiences of key relationship building activities that helped to strengthen the research partnership, as well as potential pitfalls to be aware of and strategies to reduce challenges.
