In this workshop we will explore considerations for making your face-to-face classroom learning experience accessible for your students. We will provide a variety of strategies for ensuring that all your students an equal opportunity to succeed.

Learning outcomes:

  • Explain rules for accessibility at the University of Toronto
  • Identify services offered by Accessibility Servies and common requests and solutions
  • Consider and remediate learning barriers within your classroom in-person environment
  • Design accessible Quercus courses and documents
  • Navigate accessibility resources

Note: Participants are asked to please bring a laptop with them to the session (if available) to experiment with Quercus course accessibility features.
