Course Evaluation Special Note about the Winter 2015 Term

During the Winter Term of the 2014-15 Academic Year, the University of Toronto was engaged in protracted contract negotiations with members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) 3902 Unit 1 (Post-Doctoral Fellows, graduate students in the School of Graduate Studies and undergraduate students who serve as teaching assistants, teaching fellows, demonstrators, tutors, markers, instructors, teaching laboratory assistants, Chief Presiding Officers, invigilators and part-time lecturers).

During the Winter 2015 academic term members of Unit 1 engaged in a legal strike that began on Friday, February 27, 2015 and ended on Thursday, March 26. Course evaluations for the Winter 2015 Term – including full year and ongoing (multi-term) courses — were administered in this context and course evaluations may have been affected by this context.
