Creating Equitable Classroom Roundtables

Creating Equitable Classroom Roundtables

These informal roundtables provide a space for faculty to learn together, reflect on their teaching, and workshop practical ways to create more equitable and inclusive classrooms. Conversations may include:

  • Exploring why introducing an equity lens into curriculum design can feel challenging
  • Reflecting on teaching practices and one’s own social positionality
  • Sharing approaches for integrating equity-informed topics into a course
  • Workshopping new or revised assignment ideas
  • Learning from invited guest speakers’ perspectives
