Creating Equitable Classroom Roundtables
These informal roundtables provide a space for faculty to learn together, reflect on their teaching, and workshop practical ways to create more equitable and inclusive classrooms. Conversations may include:
- Exploring why introducing an equity lens into curriculum design can feel challenging
- Reflecting on teaching practices and one’s own social positionality
- Sharing approaches for integrating equity-informed topics into a course
- Workshopping new or revised assignment ideas
- Learning from invited guest speakers’ perspectives
