Are you interested in Open Education?

In this session, we will speak about how to understand, find, adapt, create, and share Open Educational Resources (OERs). OERs can be used for your own learning spaces to help increase the quality and efficiency of your work as well as support access to education. Join us for an interactive sessions to apply your knowledge through a series of activities like an Open Library Scavenger Hunt and H5P Arts & Crafts!

RECOMMENDED PREPARATION
– IF YOU ARE ABLE: Review of the “Mastering Open ED: Licensing, Accessibility, Creation, and Publishing OER” online modules. A version of this training can be found HERE
– Think about a topic that you can speak about or know well. This does not have to be academic as it is for practice (i.e. Pop music, Project Management, Caring for Cats… anything).
– Register for a eCampus Ontario H5P Studio Account HERE.

We hope that the preparation suggestions do not create a barrier, if you are unable to complete any of the items above you are still welcome and will be able to actively participate in the session!
