Themed Workshop Request: Generative AI
The University of Toronto recognizes the transformative potential of generative AI in higher education and is committed to supporting its responsible integration into teaching and learning practices. To support this strategic priority, the Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation (CTSI) is offering a series of workshops for U of T instructors to equip educators with the knowledge and skills needed to address generative AI capabilities and responsibly incorporate its use into teaching practices. Together, these sessions will guide participants to explore practical applications of AI in education, reimagine learning outcomes and assessments, and gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, all while fostering a critical examination of the role of AI literacy across teaching contexts.
Please note that CTSI requires a minimum of 1 month’s notice to book a 1-hour webinar and 2 months’ notice to book a 2-hour workshop. This is to ensure we have time to identify CTSI facilitators and prepare the session.
