Cultivating an inclusive classroom requires intentionality about how to approach “hot” moments, including situations that are heated, offensive, tense and most often unexpected. This in-person workshop explores how positionality and communication styles play a role in how we respond to classroom disruptions and when we might need to adapt our communication styles to create more inclusive classrooms.
