While case studies can be a helpful tool for teaching and learning in health professions education, without thoughtful consideration during their development, they can be harmful for the individuals they intend to represent. During this Membership Monday lunch and learn, we will engage in a dialogue about the importance of representation in case studies, as well important questions to consider when developing cases to mitigate harm.
