FAS: Getting Ready for Winter 2024 (Part 1): Course Planning and Design

Instructors teaching in the Faculty of Arts & Science are invited to join two upcoming sessions to kick off the Winter 2024 semester. In this two-part series, our Teaching & Learning team will focus first on course planning and design and second, on fostering student engagement.
Part I: Course Planning and Design is intended to help instructors plan and prepare for Winter 2024 courses. This session will include strategies and effective practices for structuring courses, choosing appropriate educational technology tools, and integrating important A&S policies related to teaching and learning. We will also discuss different approaches to topics like assessment design and generative AI.
