Presented by: UTSC’s Centre for Teaching and Learning and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Office
Join us as we explore mindfulness as a liberatory practice and engage in meditation, journalling and self-reflection to strengthen our sense of self, engage in deeper self-knowing and build community. All faculty, staff and librarians are welcome.
Participants can register for one or all remaining sessions: Nov. 27: Building awareness of our emotions; Dec. 4: Strengthening self-compassion; Dec. 11: Practicing R.A.I.N (recognize, allow, investigate, nurture).
Each session includes one hour of facilitated mindfulness practice with Dr. Jasjit Sangha, Anti-Racist Pedagogy Educational Developer, CTL. Stay for an optional 30-minute debrief and discussion (1-1:30 p.m.) with EDIO Program Coordinators Dee (Diana) Pearson and Marc Proudfoot.
