Despite the consensus between teachers, industry and accreditation bodies on the importance of professional skills, many students report a persistent lack of these skills in their curricula. This workshop includes a learning activity and participants will reflect on the necessary conditions for teaching such skills. The first part of the workshop is informed by evidence on experiential learning and the second part is structured by the application of the 3T PLAY framework for teaching transversal skills. Takes place in AC221, Academic Resource Centre, UTSC.
Facilitator:
Dr. Siara Isaac is a researcher at the Centre for Learning Sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland, and manages the 3T PLAY project
