What Can I Use It For?

Access Pearson is an optional integration in Quercus that provides instructors and students with access to course materials and learning activities developed by Pearson.

“MyLab and Mastering” and “Revel and eText” are both supported via Access Pearson.

Special Notes

Access Pearson is enabled as an option in Quercus by default, but instructors will need a Pearson access code to begin using the platform.

Instructors will need to contact the U of T Bookstore to acquire a Pearson access code:

How to Get Started

The University of Toronto currently has an agreement with Pearson that will make the tool interact with Quercus.

Each division of the University has its own policies and practices regarding access to, use of, and support of Pearson publishing materials.

The Access Pearson tool is available by default in Quercus, however request for access to the tool is necessary on a course-by-course basis.

Security Considerations

The University of Toronto has asked Pearson to advise all instructors using MyLabs of restrictions on use of optional assessment services available through the platform.

Specifically, the Pearson LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor features within the Pearson MyLabs platform are not approved for use at the University of Toronto.
